Ms. Watson lives the life she
writes about. Her home was built on 24 acres just south of Flint, Michigan. She and
her husband spend as much time as possible recording all aspects of the woods and wetlands
that surround their home. An avid outdoors woman, you will often find her checking the
Bluebird boxes, observing the turtles, or just enjoying the ducks that visit the pond.Ms. Watson has been active in both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 25 years. She currently works as a Naturalist with troops and school groups.
As a certified trainer, Ms. Watson trains teachers and leaders in Projects WILD and WET activities. She is available most week-ends and will travel up to 200 miles. There is no charge, other than the materials, for this training.
Ms. Watson is also available to speak about the importance of keeping in touch with nature, how to introduce children to nature, and outdoor activities children enjoy (that are fun and educational).
For more information or to request The Nature Lady to speak at your function, send an e-mail with your request. Please include whether you are requesting a Project WILD or Project WET class or a speaking engagement.
